Tokyo POOP Museum… what could go wrong? (UNKO MUSEUM)

Today my daughter and I explore one of Tokyo’s funniest attractions — the Unko Museum!

A colourful, silly, interactive space designed to make the word poop feel less dramatic… and definitely less taboo.

I didn’t expect how literal the “say it out loud” part would be, but you’ll understand quickly what I mean!

We took one train, then the monorail to Tokyo Bay, where the museum sits inside a shopping centre.

From shouting “POOP” at the entrance to sitting on a tiny throne to earn a colourful reward, we jumped right into the experience.

Cute installations, games, sounds, surprises — and more poop than I ever imagined in one place!
