Japan’s Biggest Campervan Show 2025

In this video, I return to one of Japan’s biggest campervan events, the Japan Camping Car Show held in Chiba. It’s a huge gathering dedicated to van life, outdoor travel, and camping culture in Japan.

From massive luxury RVs to tiny Japanese kei-camper vans, this event showcases just how creative camper design can be.

Some vehicles feel like full apartments on wheels, while others are incredibly compact and perfectly adapted to Japan’s narrow countryside roads.

Van life is becoming increasingly popular in Japan, especially with the rise of glamping and outdoor travel. During the visit, I explore many different layouts, clever space-saving ideas, and unique vehicles built specifically for the Japanese market.

By the end of the show, I may have even found my favourite camper… but it might take a little while before I can afford it... 🚐
