What Spring Feels Like in Tokyo

March in Tokyo marks the true beginning of spring. In this video, we take our time to enjoy hanami with friends by the sea, before wandering through one of Tokyo’s most peaceful neighbourhoods as cherry blossoms slowly begin to bloom.

• Hanami at Kasai Rinkai Park

We start the season with a quiet hanami picnic by the water. With open views of the sea, children playing along the shore, and friends gathered under the trees, this moment captures the simple beauty of spring returning to the city.

• A walk through Yanaka and its sakura

A few days later, we explored the calm streets of Yanaka, stopping by Tennōji Temple before walking under the cherry trees of Yanaka Cemetery. A place where everyday life and quiet reflection meet, especially during sakura season.

A slow and gentle start to spring in Tokyo, between nature, everyday life, and simple moments shared.
