Tokyo with Kids, a 100-Year-Old Amusement Park!
🎡 JUNE 2025_
June in Tokyo is warm, slow, and full of small everyday joys.
In this family vlog, we share two simple weekends that perfectly reflect our life in Japan as a family living in Tokyo.
We start in Koenji, one of our favourite Tokyo neighbourhoods, known for its relaxed atmosphere, vintage shops, cosy cafés, and quiet backstreets. Between a visit to the Weather Shrine and a peaceful coffee break, it’s a reminder that Tokyo can feel calm and intimate.
On another weekend, my daughter and I head to Arakawa Yūen, one of Japan’s oldest amusement parks, first opened in 1922.
With its ferris wheel, carousel, miniature trains, retro tram café, and shallow stream where kids can cool their feet, this nostalgic park is perfect for young children and families looking for a relaxed day out in Tokyo.
No big attractions, no rush. Just time together, laughter, and simple happiness.
Thanks for watching!
