A simple and joyful road trip through the Izu Peninsula, shared with close friends and our kids. Over three days, we slowed down, explored coastal towns, enjoyed warm onsens, and made the most of quality time together.

This trip was all about taking it easy. Driving through Shizuoka’s beautiful landscapes, stopping whenever we felt like it, and letting the days unfold naturally.

From seaside walks to local restaurants, these coastal towns offered relaxed vibes, good food, and peaceful moments by the ocean.
- ♨️ Onsen time and slow moments
No Izu trip is complete without onsens. Between hot baths, quiet strolls, and shared meals, we embraced a slower rhythm far from Tokyo.
- 🌿 Shuzenji and nature walks
Surrounded by greenery, Shuzenji was the perfect place to slow down even more. Gentle walks, calm streets, and that timeless atmosphere made it a highlight of the trip.
