In this video, we return to one of our favourite places near Tokyo: Chichibu.

After arriving on a very special train, we spent a peaceful family getaway in the Japanese countryside — staying in a renovated 100-year-old house, enjoying a private onsen, wandering through quiet streets, and savouring a homemade local breakfast.

Nothing complicated. Just slow moments: ice cream, taiyaki, rain, walks, rest.

A simple weekend that felt perfect. Chichibu is one of those places we never get tired of. Calm, warm, welcoming. Each visit feels new, and every time, we leave with a softer heart.
